Two Aluminum Enterprises in Yunnan Cut Production

(China Aluminum Network) Since 2013, domestic and overseas aluminum price was rebounded slightly at the beginning of this year; then fluctuated around the cost. A lot of domestic aluminum enterprises’ operation state was getting worse day by day.

After Xinheng Group announced bankrupt in recent days, Yuannan Aluminum Co., Ltd announced decided to shut down 100-150 electrolyzers and carry out energy-saving technology transformation. So far, Yuannan Aluminum and Dongyuan Coal Industry Qujing Aluminum were all conducted production cut down in this year, which were two large aluminum enterprises in Yunnan. In Q1 this year, Qujing Aluminum has shut down 150 thousand tons of primary aluminum production every year.
