Qinghai Investment Group Buyout Baihe Aluminum

(China Aluminum Network) In recent days, Qinghai Investment Group acquired Qinghai Baihe Aluminum Co., Ltd. Qinghai Baihe Aluminum Company’s primary aluminum annual production was 120 thousand tons, adopted 240 kilo-ampere prebake technology. Through this buyout Qinghai Investment Group will form the industry chain integrated coal power, hydroelectric, primary aluminum and aluminum manufacture; while 850 thousand tons for primary aluminum production. This company’s aluminum products included aluminum alloy profiles, aluminum sheet, electrical aluminum foil, can material, curtains and wallboard, sheet material and PS plate. In the following 2-3 years, Qinghai Investment Group’s aluminum products may up from 400 to 700 thousand tons.

Among current primary aluminum smelting industry, about 60% of the total production is come from domestic 10 manufactures. The government hopes this ratio can increase to 90% before the end of 2015.
