Zhang Gaoli: Resolve Over Capacity, Prohibit New Electrolytic Aluminum Capacity

(China Aluminum Network) Zhang Gaoli who is the vice-premier of the State Council said China was in the process of resolving over capacity through prohibiting newly added capacity in steel and electrolytic aluminum industry.

According to the central government, during the investigation in the Nei Monggol Autonomous Region Zhang Gaoli stated that should enhance increment management, strictly prohibit newly added capacity project in steel, cement, electrolytic aluminum, sheet glass and ships industry, and firmly suspend the project of illegal under construction programs to promote green development.
