Cost structure of aluminium ingot limits rise of aluminium price

By reaching its pink of 20900 Y/T in 1995, price of aluminium ingot have witnessed a constant fall. And the market is extremely concerned about this problem.

Materials used in production of aluminium ingot are mainly alumina, electric power and anode paste.

At present, domestic production of aluminium ingot need a cost of 10730Y/T, excluding other 20% of costs used in company management.

Therefore, Total cost of aluminium ingot production is about 2680 Y/T.
Besides, adjusting of electricity price heightened electricity price of aluminium industry to 8%. What¡¯s more, current rise of crude oil deteriorated this situation.

Discontinuity of production in some countries and religions lowered the speed of annual production of aluminium. However, the global situation of oversupply has not been changed. Rise of alumimium price is limited.
