Chinese aluminum scrap price shifts up by 2pct

MetalMiner reported that Chinese aluminum scrap prices rose 1.5% to finish as the day’s biggest mover. The cash price of Chinese aluminum flattened after 2 days of downward movement.

The price of Chinese aluminum bar continues hovering in place for the fifth day in a row. Chinese aluminum billet saw little change in its price.

The Indian aluminum cash price drift down 1.1% after a couple of stagnant days. On the LME, the aluminum 3 month price held steady around USD 1,910 per tonne. On the LME, the primary aluminum cash price saw little movement yesterday at USD 1,881 per tonne.
