Baise: Endeavour to Build ¡°Hundreds of Billions Aluminum Industry of Guangxi

(China Aluminum Network) Zhou Bingqun addressed on the eleventh conference and put forward construction suggestions and advices on building a “hundreds of billions aluminum industry” based on resource advances.

Zhou Bingqun said that Baise aluminum achieved 48.2 billion Yuan industrial value, 16.9 billion Yuan industrial added value, two billion yuan tax, which accounted representatively 55percent, 54 percent and 57 percent. Baise Aluminum boosted social development and became the hundreds of billions aluminum enterprise.

Mr. Zhou put forward some suggestions on the development of Baise aluminum industry.

Firstly, fighting for national approval of straight power supply; to reduce cost of electrolytic aluminum production, improve aluminum products market competitiveness;

Secondly, improving capacity of electrolytic aluminum; solving the extension of aluminum chain bottlenecks.

Thirdly, introducing and building a group of high value-added aluminum processing projects to solve small capacity, short chain and low value-added products; strengthening research and development of high tech products;

Fourthly, strengthening infrastructure and improving innovation and creation; building aluminum technical center to develop new products, new technology and craft to support restructuring and upgrading of aluminum enterprises; achieving sustainable development of economy, resource and environment.
