Hengtong Optic-Electric Plans to Build 50 Thousand tons Aluminum Project

(China Aluminum Network) Hengtong Group (600487) announced Hengtong Power Cable Co., Ltd which is the holding subsidiary of the company plans to build annual production of 50 thoudand tons aluminum and aluminum alloy round rod line project. This project will produce 20 thousoud tons of aluminum and aluminum alloy rod and 30 thousand tons of aluminum alloy wire every year, expected to invest 0.16 billion yuan. The after-tax financial internal rate of return was estimated to reach 23.25%, period for recovery of investment was 5.41 year.
