Alumina Production Increase by 10 Percent Up to 46.3 Million Tons

(China Aluminum Network) It is expected that Chinese alumina production will be 46.3 million tons in 2013; which is increased by 10 percent than the year of 2012.

In 2012, the production is 42.14 million tons; that is lower than expected. The main reason is that worrying about the bauxite supply led cutting production of smelting factories.

However, it will be better in 2013, for that reopening and reconstruction of factories. Alumina will be increased little by little.
