    Yunnan Qujing Aluminum Build Mating Prebaked Anode Project

    (China Aluminum Network) Yunnan Dongyuan Coal Group Qujing Aluminum Co., Ltd said the company was in the construction of electrolytic aluminium prebaked anode mating project, to reduce raw material purchase cost further cut electrolytic aluminium cost.


    According to the company this prebaked anode factory was a JV with other company, expected to finish construction in October 2013 and put into production in the same month.


    The company said aluminum ingot price was fluctuated at 15,000 yuan/ton, company suffered severe loss, through reduce material cost to maintain business. Besides the captive prebaked anode factory, the company was also repair railways to reduce transportation cost.


    The company’s electrolytic aluminium annual capacity was 380 thousand tons, cut 30 thousand tons at the beginning of 2012. At present, the operation level was kept at 350 thousand tons/year.
