(China Aluminum Network) Recent days, Chinalco’s development of using new type hypereutectic alusil alloy to replace import engine has passed experts identification of CHINA NONFERROUS METALS INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CNIA). The experts hold project’s whole technical level has reached international advanced level. This project built an extrusion casting pilot line which has provided economic and feasible technology for hypereutectic alusil alloy piston and cylinder liner manufacture, with remarkable energy conservation and emission reduction effect can apply to the replacement of steel material in transportation field, such as automobile and steamship.
