SWA Nanhai Alloy Produced Hot Rolling Aluminum Alloy Slab Ingot Successfully

(China Aluminum Network) In middle December, Nanhai Alloy produced first shipment of 5052, 5083 and 3104 (general material) alloy large slab ingot, which means the company has the ability to produce aluminum alloy large slab ingot.
Since Southwest Aluminum (SWA) took over Naihai Aluminum in 2011, through serious survey and deep research established product mix regulation development strategy. At the beginning of the year, made use of SWA technology, by means of optimizing craft and frock has produced high alloy round ingot 2A12, 7A04 and 7075 successfully, provided to SWA in bulk. The company decided to reform No. 2 production line to meet the production and quality requirements of large slab ingot and high-precision round ingots. The successful trial production of first shipment slab ingots has realized company's products structural adjustment preliminary. At present, besides 6063 casting bars, Nanhai Alloy also equipped with the production ability of 1-8 series aluminum alloy round ingot and 1.3.5 series alloy slab ingot, improved products grade and added value, realized new breakthrough of products structural adjustment.
