Aluminum Plate Project of CHALCO Started Fire

(China Aluminum Network) First device of Guizhou 150,000 tons of aluminum plate (strip) project was ignited in Baiyun aluminum processing base. After being operated, it is expected to achieve 30 billion Yuan’s annual output value, 40 million Yuan’s tax and add five hundred jobs.
It is said that the project was jointly funded and constructed by Guiyang Industrial Investment Group, CHINALCO, Shanghai ENYUAN Industrial Company. The project takes electrolytic aluminum as the raw materials, which reduced energy consumption and resources transportation consumption. It upgraded conservation of aluminum and industry. It only takes seventeen months from staring to the first equipment’s running. Compared with domestic same project, the project time was shortened by half a year. The eighteen smelting furnaces and heat reservation furnace will be put into production in March 2013.
