Yankuang Coal-Electricity-Aluminum Chain Extended

(China Aluminum Network) World largest tonnage and advanced technical 150MN aluminum extruder was started into operation on Tenth December in Light Alloy Company of Yankuang. It marked Yankuang become the largest industrial base which has capability of processing ultra-diameter, ultra-section and hard alloy extruded profile. Besides, it also made coal and aluminum industry achieved upgrading and extended downstream to the high-end manufacturing fields.

Wangxin, Chairman and Party Secretary of Yankuang Group said that the world’s first 150MN aluminum extruder casted steady instrument foundation to fasten electric aluminum extension, achieve “double ten billion” industrial scale and build a world-class high-end aluminum profile base. It is beneficial for world’s aluminum processing technology and researching and development level; and it could fill of gap of industries and create new and fresh application market.

It is said that coal aluminum industry (three main industries) of Yankuang had tremendous development. Sticking on green developing, using coal slime and coal gangue to generate, Yankuang Group implemented international strategies to embrace huge bauxite of Australia and other countries and extend upstream. 150MN aluminum extruder’s production made it downstream to high-end industries successfully.

Hanhua-General Manager of Electronic Aluminum Company of Yankuang introduced that the light alloy project was put into production in July, 2008 with total investment of 3 billion Yuan. Annual extrusion profile was 133,000 tons and 185,000 tons of billets. It is the largest huge industrial profile project in Asia. It is expected to achieve 4.28 billion Yuan annual sales income and 316 million Yuan profit and tax.

Hanhua told the reporter that the 150MN extruder made it achieve world-class technology in single and whole line.

Xi’an Aircraft Industrial Aluminum Company, PPM and Electronic Aluminum of Yankuang signed cooperation agreement on that day. The product of 150MN extruder covers transportation, automobile, military, aerospace, shipping, appliance, electricity, mechanics, hydraulic and pneumatic industry. It has hign-end, high-quality and high-efficiency which could attract demands and grasp heights of market.
