Orders in 40% Aluminum Plate/Strip/Foil Enterprises Will Decrease in Dec.

(China Aluminum Network) SMM did a survey of 37 aluminum plate/strip/foil enterprises, as for the operation rate in Dec., about 50% enterprises said the newly added orders were stayed balance, 40% enterprises said the newly added orders were dropped, only 10% stated orders were increased.

At present, domestic construction and capital construction were came into the end, thus orders from packaging and transportation industry were decreased. Owing to mild market, many enterprises will start holidays since later January. In order to arrange production and make timely shipments, enterprises may stop accepting this year’s orders at the end of Dec. and beginning of Jan. All in all, orders in Dec. will stay stable.

In general, from October to May were the busy season for air-condition foil, orders also increased in Nov. SMM expected air-condition foil market may recovery gradually.
