Aluminum Factory Keep Full Load Operation

(China Aluminum Network) Domestic electrolytic aluminium output may hit to 4,900-5,000 thousand tons in Q4.

The experts expected the output may increased 200-300 thousand tons on average at the end of year. At present, the aluminum factories were kept full load operation, unlikely to cut production. Xinjiang capacity will put into production again, the high supply volume situation will certainly lasts at the end of this year.

At the end of October, the finished capacity was about 2,300 thousand tons in Xinjiang, also 1,550 thousand tons capacity have put into operation. 800 thousand tons capacity of Xinjiang Xinfa realized full capacity at the beginning of August. There was 150 thousand tons capacity will put into production every month in Xinjiang. While, last December only 50 thousand tons capacity was put into production.

The latest data showed electrolytic aluminium output in October was 1,719 thousand tons, increased over 300 thousand tons yoy; the same period of last year was only 14,160 thousand tons, increased about 200 thousand tons yoy. According to usual practice, output in Q4 will not increase month on month, but will slightly higher than the annual average level. Furthermore, still many aluminum enterprises in Xinjiang plan to put or expand production in this quarter.
