Nanning: 200 Thousand Aluminum Project Level Arrived First Position of China

Survey group came to Guangxi Southwest Aluminum Company to study the 200,000 tons’ large-sized and high-performance aluminum alloy plate projects. It is reported that the total investment was 4.82 billion Yuan; and the construction period is three years. By now, the important equipments have been already ordered. The level will arrive fifth of the world and No.1 of China. The first stage construction includes: large profile extrusion center was started into production in July; melting center was put into production in middle of October; basic and main projects of middle and thick plates plants finished and now is being installed equipments; it is planned to make the first plate in 2013; cold rolling center and Nanning Nanche Aluminum Precision project had been started.

It is said the project aims at fifth generation aluminum alloy; targeting the eighty to ninety percent imported hard aluminum alloy products in domestic and composite alloy on behalf of the world’s aluminum processing industry trend. The project will be applied in plane, train, automobile, ship, etc. It is expected 8 billion Yuan of annual sales income and 1.56 billion Yuan of annual tax.
