Aluminum Products Export Volume Decrased in Past 8 Months

(China Aluminum Network) According to the data from China Customs that aluminum stranded cable export volume in China was 8,570 tons in August decreased 29.95% yoy. In the past 8 months, total export volume of aluminum stranded cable was 87,136 tons increased 17.92% yoy.

According to the statistics, total export volume of aluminum products was 1,890 thousand tons in the past 8 months decreased 10% yoy, but aluminum stranded cable just occupied 4.61%, aluminum rods and profiles increased 11.68% yoy, aluminum structural body and components, foil, wire and tubes occupied 7%, 4.11%, 2.96% and -0.12% respectively, while aluminum plate and strip occupied -27.06%.

As the survey showed domestic aluminum cable enterprises have enhanced export since affected by the decrease of bidding projects in State Grid and Provincial Grid, aluminum cable enterprises also suffered fund pressure thus aimed at overseas market. Moreover, besides traditional aluminium cable steel reinforced and overhead line, aluminum alloy stranded cable export also improved obviously.
