Operating Rate of Shandong Aluminum Processors

(China Aluminum Network) According to the research of 32 aluminum processing enterprises’ operating and business situation in Shandong in August, the results showed either operating rate or orders all dropped in local enterprises. 30% enterprises said orders in August almost kept stable, operating rate stayed at 80%; 50% said orders were decreased more than 30% and operating rate also dropped largely; half enterprises’ operating rate even less than 60%, orders dropped over 50%; only less than 10% enterprises said with nearly full load operation and orders increased slightly.

Since this year, over 20% of local peer companies were shut down. Long term weak market situation leaded the substantial decrease of orders in Shandong aluminum processing enterprises in August, the market situation will not improved in short term. Thus, it was expected that local enterprises’ operating rate and orders may kept decline in September.
