Aluminum Fluoride Price May Keep on Weak

(China Aluminum Network) According to the data that aluminum fluoride price was kept on drop. Last week, average domestic aluminum fluoride price was 7,800 yuan/ton, manufacturers’ price was about 7,500-8,000 yuan/ton, trade price was about 7,000-8,000 yuan/ton.

The analyst said dry aluminum fluoride market still was the buyer's market, aluminum factory was in the state of stable demand while dry aluminum fluoride capacity still increasing. In short term, aluminum fluoride price may hard to rise, since shut down manufacturers will continue to supply the market, oversupply situation will last for a time, aluminum fluoride price will keep on weak.

At present, aluminum fluoride manufacturers with low operating rate, weak market situation will go on. Since manufacturers in Hunan, Anhui and Jiangxi carried out shut down and reduction of output, several manufacturers in Henen and Shandong also did shut down or reduction of output in Sep. to avoid loss which was caused by price decrease.

The following two reasons caused aluminum fluoride price decrease, the first one is the price of up stream raw material 97# fluorite dry powder down to 1500 yuan/ton, decreased nearly 50% yoy; on the other side, current weak electrolytic aluminium price and loss in aluminum enterprises lowered the aluminum fluoride purchasing price.
