Shanxi Fenyang Municipal Government and Chalco Shanxi Branch to Co-Develop Bauxite Resources

(China Aluminium Network) Shanxi Fenyang Municipal Government and Chalco Shanxi Branch signed a strategic cooperation agreement on September 6.
Fenyang City is located in the east foot of Luliang Mountains which possesses rich mineral resources and good exploitation environment for bauxite. In order to turn its mineral resource advantage into economic development advantage, Fenyang chose Chalco Shanxi Branch as its co-cooperative enterprise to reasonably develop bauxite resources of the city. Fenyang Municipal Government expressed that it would provide preferential treatment to the company in integrated use of resources and mining. Chalco Shanxi Branch expressed that it would develop bauxite resources according to the city’s resource development planning and support the development of the local economy to realize win-win.
