    Communist Party Secretary of Inner Mongolia Holds Talks with Chinalco General Manager

    (China Aluminium Network) Communist Party Secretary of Inner Mongolia Hu Chunhua held talks with Chinalco General Manager Xiong Weiping on August 3.


    Chinalco has 7 companies in Inner Mongolia currently covering various fields such as aluminium & copper processing, trading, logistics, etc. The total assets reach 11.1 billion RMB. Chinalco is planning to invest 35 billion RMB to build a circular economy park in Ordos and construct alumina test production lines.


    General Manager of Chinalco Xiong Weiping briefly introduced Chinalco’s investment and projects in Inner Mongolia and its next planning target. Xiong hoped that the government could provide support on resource allocation and project approval, etc.


    Hu said Chinalco had made important contribution to Inner Mongolia’s economy and the two sides had always maintained good cooperative relationship. He hoped that Chinalco could actively promote integrated development of “coal-electricity-aluminium”and vigorously develop deep processing industry and recycling industry.
