Chinalco and SAPA Group Subsidize Aluminum Industry

(China Aluminum Network) Chinalco signed an agreement with a Swedish company in Beijing last year, planned to subsidize a project in Xipeng Aluminum Industrial Park in Jiu Longpo District Chongqing City.
SAPA Group equipped with the world most advanced low temperature, energy conservation and high-strength welding technique.
After this project put into operation in 2013 expected to produce aluminum products 20,000 tons per year used in automobile body and railway transportation.
In 2006, Chongqing government had signed a cooperation agreement with Chinalco, hope through joint effort to create the Center City of China Aluminum Processing Industry within the 8 to 10 years.
According to the agreement will make the center to be the top and biggest industrial park on the original basis, also equipped with improved industry chain and completed service. This aluminum industrial park was expected to expand aluminum processing industry in Chongqing.
In 2008, Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) named this park as the Special Light Alloy Industrial Park, in 2010 MOST reconfirmed the title of State High-tech Aluminum Process Industrial Park.
Now this park armed with thorough industry chain—electrolytic aluminium-aluminum rough machining-deep processing, hope the annual output value will reaches RMB100 billion yuan at the end of 2015.
