Copper&Aluminum Output Recreate New High in June

(China Aluminum Network) China produced 518 thousand tons of refined copper in June increased 8.6% and 7.0% when compared with the same period of last year and last month respectively, also kept balance with August in last year. From January to June produced 2,874 thousand tons of refined copper increased 9.1% yoy.

The primary aluminum output reached 1,685 thousand tons in June increased 5.9% yoy, when compared with last month increased 0.1%, recreated a new high after last month, totally produced 9,485 thousand tons of primary aluminum from January to June increased 10.1% yoy.

It is expected that supply and demand pressure will limited the performance in Q3, while the aluminum ingot output created new high in these 2 months which was no doubt enhanced the pressure of oversupply, aluminum ingot price will stay in the downturn for an extended period.
