    China Newly Added Over 20,000 Thousand Tons of Bauxite Reserves

    (China Aluminum Network) In the first half year of 2012, China has found several large mineral deposits, especially the energy exploration, newly added coal resources was over 60 billion tons.


    Several regions of China obtained significant discovery in terms of prospecting, newly added 1.8 billion tons of iron ore reserves, more than 20,000 thousand tons of bauxite, has laid a solid energy resources guarantee for the sustainable development of economic society.


    It is learned that China has invested about 38.0 billion yuan in oil, natural gas, minerals and geological exploration increased 6.4% yoy; while invested 20.0 billion yuan in other exploration which was basically the same as last year. In order to accelerate the implementation of conservation and comprehensive utilization of mineral resources has finished overall plan and investigation of 40 demonstration bases, started bases construction entirely.
