Aluminum Industry Flue Gas Desulfurization Project Be in State Science&Technology Plan

(China Aluminum Network) Recently, Aluminum Industry Flue Gas Desulfurization and Resource Utilization project which was declared by Yunnan Aluminium Co. Ltd (YLGF) was listed in the state science and technology support plan during the 12th Five-year period. It was the second time for YLGF to undertake state science and technology plan.

This project depended on the aluminum industrial system of YLGF, combined colleges and universities and scientific research institutions that have advantages in industry smoke gas treatment and resource utilization to conduct university-industry collaboration, proceed cleaner production, develop circular economy, choose economic and reasonable comprehensive treatment way, open up related technical plants and technical regulation, build application demonstration system of aluminum industry flue gas desulfurization in domestic, reach or above national standard, maximize resources recovery and utilization, improve green manufacturing level of aluminum industry.

According to the person concerned that this project will publicity among domestic aluminum industry in 2014, can reduce more than 3000 thousand tons of sulfur dioxide emission, 9000 tons of fluoride emission and 27 thousand tons of smoke and dust emission.
