Aba Aluminium to Start up Facilities in Middle 2009

Aba Aluminium plant will postpone its restart of 100,000-ton damaged smelting facilities to middle 2009, which was previously planned to start this month, said a manager from Bo Sai Industry Group.

He said the new facilities were slightly damaged in the earthquake and may be started up next year, and also revealed that the transformer was also impaired with some production containers deformed in the earthquake and over 20 employees were dead.
