Hongda Non-ferrous Metal Co.(Ganluo) restores production

On May 22, Hongda Company announced that its subsidiary company-Sichuan Hongda Non-Ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. ("Hongda Non-Ferrous")-was formally resumed production on May 21.
This is the first subsidiary of Hongda Company resumed production.
It is learnt that the Hongda Company is one of the listed companies most seriously affected by Wenchuan earthquake. The non-ferrous metal production base, the phosphorus chemical production base, and the subsidiary companies- Chuanrun Chemical and Hongda Chemical have stopped production since the afternoon of May 12. Some equipment of non-ferrous metal, phosphorus chemical and Hongda chemical in the headquarters of the company were serious damaged and 31 staff died.
In contrast, Hongda Non-Ferrous has not any loss of asset, but was affected by the earthquake and stopped production on the afternoon of May 12. The company will restore production as soon as possible.
