    Chalco holds 1 billion stakes in China Commercial Airplanes LLC

    China Commercial Airplanes LLC opened in Shanghai with an inaugural ceremony, which marks large airplane project starts officially. Chalco bids 5.26 percent stakes in the company with 1 billion yuan.

    The company is set up with the register capital of 19 billion yuan, with headquarter in Shanghai. SASAC holds 31.58% stakes in the company with 6 billion yuan, which make it the biggest stockholder. Shanghai Government holds 26.32% stakes with capital of 5 billion yuan through Guosheng Group.

    "Large airplane" means the airplanes with Gross Weight over 100 tons. Currently Only USA, Russia and four countries in Europe can produce large airplane, with Boeing and Airbus leading the market in the world.


    As an important shareholder of "Large airplane" company, Chalco will bring its advantages into full play, do well in R&D and production of high-end aluminium for large airplane, and  make positive contributions to the independent development of large airplanes by Chinese.
