Chalco wins bid for stakes in six aluminum firms for at least 4.2 bln yuan

HONG KONG - Aluminum Corp of China Ltd (Chalco) said it was the winning bidder for stakes in six aluminum companies owned by its parent Chinalco, citing the China Beijing Equity Exchange, which conducted the auction.
Chinalco had offered the stakes at a total minimum price of 4.2 bln yuan.
Chalco did not reveal how much it bid or if other bidders took part in the auction.
The assets Chalco will acquire are 100 pct of Lanzhou Liancheng Aluminium Co, 100 pct of SWA Cold Rolling Strip Co, 75 pct of Ruimin Strip Co, 60 pct of SWA Strip Co, 84.02 pct of Henan Aluminum Fabrication Co, and 56.86 pct of Huaxi Aluminium Co. Source: WAM News
