Electrolytic Aluminium Output Declined Nearly 400 Thousand tons in Henan

(China Aluminum Network) Owing to sluggish aluminum price part of electrolytic aluminium enterprises were still in the state of deficit. Since the rising of power price in last year resulted in electrolytic aluminium enterprises in Henan were reduced production which has over 400 thousand tons. The shut down will bring large losses to electrolytic aluminium enterprises. Thus many enterprises still perfer to production rather than shut down.

It is learned that besides reduction of output some aluminum enterprises also stock up goods. In addition at present downstream aluminum consumption was lower than last year, it remains to be seen whether demands will rebound or not.
