Aluminum Alloy Export Decreased 6.5%

(China Aluminum Network) Recent days, China Customs released that in Feb. China exported aluminum alloy ingot 40,974 tons decreased 7.2% compared with the former month, from Jan. to Feb. exported 85,120 tons totally decreased 6.53% yoy.
The cast aluminum alloy market was hard to deliver the goods and in tight supply situation in Feb., also the limited overseas demand were the main reasons that caused declined in export. Japanese customers placed mass orders in Jan. which was offset the impact of Spring Festival since many aluminum alloy enterprises enhanced shipments before the holidays.
Japan imported 25,277 tons of aluminum alloy ingot from China in Feb. compared with Jan. reduced 860 tons, while occupied 61% of the total export volume in China.
March is still an off season for cast aluminum alloy export, foreign clients still with inactive orders. With the recovery of consumption, cast aluminum alloy orders will rebound obviously in April.
