General Manager of Chinalco Holds Talks with Governor of Shaanxi Province

(China Aluminium Network) General Manager of Chinalco Xiong Weiping met Governor of Shaanxi Province Zhao Zhengyong in Beijing on March, 12. The two sides held a talk on realizing mutual benefit.
Xiong introduced Chinalco’s achievements in structural adjustment and strategic transformation in recent years. He said Chinalco was building it into a world leading mining company. Chinalco has turned itself from a single aluminium company into a comprehensive mining company. It has formed nine business sectors and has been Top 500 Global Companies for 4 consecutive years.
Zhao expressed his congratulation to Chinalco’s achievements in the overseas market and management. He hoped to strengthen the cooperation between Shaanxi and Chinalco on mineral resource exploration and metal smelting and processing.
