Aluminum Scrap Import Recovery

(China Aluminum Network) Recently China Custom published preliminary data of aluminum scrap import situation. In Feb. China imported 220 thousand tons of aluminum scrap increased 59.4% compared with last month, from Jan. to Feb. China imported aluminum scrap 350 thousand tons dropped 3.9%. China aluminum scrap import recovery soon in Feb.

It is learned that average ratio between domestic and overseas aluminum price was 7.78 in Dec. foreign aluminum scrap price was more lower. At the same time Japanese customers added stock also boosted the export orders for domestic secondary aluminum enterprises. Sufficient aluminum scrap import volume is a must for finishing processing trade orders. The above factors caused soon recovery of aluminum scrap import situation in Feb.

As the above information that average ratio between domestic and overseas aluminum price may dropped further, moreover aluminum scarp import volume may hardly to rise in March.
