Chalco is considering purchasing much more mining assets, especially copper, as currently, the copper price is stable on the high level as well as strong demand, said the company on Wednesday.
“We are seeking more opportunities to acquire mines and other assets on basis of the company’s development, but it is difficult to tell at the moment.” Said Ren Xiaoling, deputy general manager of Chalco’s marketing department in CESCO/CRU copper meeting in Chile.
While referring to whether Chalco is considering projects in South America or Africa, said she”both are possible”.
