    Apparent Consumption for Electrolytic Aluminium May Reaches 24,000 Thousan Tons in 2015

    (China Aluminum Network) It is expected that electrolytic aluminium apparent consumption may  reaches near 24,000 thousand tons in 2015 increased 8.6% yearly.


    This year real estate market may difficult to get rid of depression and the increase rate of automobile industry reached a record low last year after enter into WTO. Since affected by the above factors aluminum consumption may confronted with depression.


    During the 12th Five-Year Plan period electrolytic aluminium faced with demand decrease and decline in supply owing to deficit.


    In December 2011, NDRC announced upregulate 0.3 yuan/kwh of domestic electrovalence which leaded the rising of electrolytic aluminium cost and some enterprises with huge losses. According to Shanghai Metals Market electrolytic aluminium cost improved about 220 yuan/ton after the rising of industrial electricity price. At present price of spot aluminum maintained around 16,000 yuna/ton. Electrolytic aluminium may face with supply and demand slow down during the 12th Five-Year Plan period.
