Chinalco Yearly Profits More than 2 Billion Yuan

(China Aluminum Network) Although aluminum price dropped sharply since September, the annual profits of Chinalco expected over 2 billion yuan according to the GM of this company.

Xiong Weiping, the General Manager of Chinalco said the economic environment and industry situation at present can compared to 2008, but Chinalco will not suffer loss again. As he mentioned Chinalco has gained 3 billion yuan from January to November but since October it descended. It is expexted that the whole year profits may keep balance with last year namely more than 2 billoin yuan. Chinalco was the loser in last two years but be the winner this year.

Chinalco targets to be the BHP Billiton in China. In 2020, Chinalco overseas assets will more than 30% and mineral assests will hit to 55%.
