China's Import And Export Growth Slows In November

(China Aluminium Network) Chinese Customs data released on Saturday reported that exports have shown a sluggish growth in two years stripping out the volatile month of February and imports also slowed.
Exports expanded 13.8% y-o-y in November 2011, while import growth slowed to 22.1% from October's y-o-y rise of 28.7%.
In November 2011, China Copper imports rose 17.9% to 452,022 tonnes on m-o-m basis while, on y-o-y basis it rose 28.6%. Likewise Aluminum imports climbed 30.7% to 78,673 tonnes in November 2011 on m-o-m basis while, on y-o-y basis imports rose 3.1%. Aluminium exports improved by 29.3% to 83,571 tonnes on m-o-m basis while, on y-o-y basis exports rose 13.3%.
