Goldman Sachs States Chinese Aluminum Manufacturers May Reduce Output

(China Aluminum Network) It is reported that decline in aluminum price may impel Chinese manufacturers to reduce output. At present, the reduction has little relationship with price but if the price still keeps at current level Chinese manufacturers may close parts of capacity in the following two months. 

Owing to the excess production capacity especially in China will limited price rise. Thus, it it expected that aluminum price will drop from 2,650 dollars per ton to 2,400 dollars per ton in the next 12 months while Goldman will maintains at $2,300 and $2,400 per ton in three months and six months.
