Indemnificatory Housing May Stimulate Aluminum Consumption

(China Aluminum Network) With the rising of electric power cost and pulled by the construction of domestic indemnificatory housing, aluminum price may higher gradually. In 2012 it may reaches to 16,800 yuan/ton in Shanghai, and the yearly fluctuation may between 15,000 and 18,000 yuna/ton.

Aluminum oversupply was better than before. The growth rate of aluminum consumption was higher than production and the supply is still rich at present. From now on till the beginning of 2012, electrovalence will rise owing to the worsen power shortage which will add aluminum production cost and aluminum price.

The construction of indemnificatory housing may largely stimulate aluminum consumption. Next year, this project will enter into substantiality construction phase and will expand aluminum demand.
