“There has been an obvious improvement of technology in recent 2 years.” Said Kangyi, the president of the second council of China non-ferrous mental industrial association held in Beijing on 26th march. He said that many advanced new technology in 2007 push forward the sound and healthy development of our non-ferrous industry. Our country have 10 non-ferrous metals with output reaching 2360.52 million, ranking the 1st for 6 consecutive years.
Kangyi also introduced the achievement of the energy-saving and discharging in non-ferrous mental industry. In 2007, the comprehensive electricity consumption of aluminum ingot decreased 183 kilowatt hours per ton compared with last year, saving 2.3billion kilowatt hours whole year. The comprehensive energy consumption of bronze smelt metal decreased by 15.5%.and the comprehensive energy consumption of aluminum smelt metal and electrolytic zinc decreased respectively by 4.7 %and 4.6%.
