In this year, the price of aluminum begins a now-round increase. Because of the influence of the snow disaster in china’s south area, and the south-Africa electricity issue, the aluminum price in LME rose from 2400dollar per ton in the beginning of the year to 3200dollar per ton. In these 3 months, the price increased 33 percent. the aluminum price in the state futures also increased from180 thousand dollar to 210dollar.
In the beginning of 2008, there is an epoch-making event in the non-ferrous industry: Chalco and American Aluminum bought 12%of Lituo’s share .This indicates that there is a change from home to abroad in the merge and integration in nonferrous industry in China, facing the decreased supply of non-ferrous resource.
