Bauxite Proved Reserves More than 0.7 Billion Tons in Guangxi

(China Aluminum Network) Xiao Jiangang, the director of Department of Land and Resources of Guangxi figured out there were more than 0.7 billion tons of bauxite has been proved in Guangxi and other regions still in the process of doing general investigation, the reserves will reaches over 1 billion tons.

It is learned that bauxite in Guangxi with high grade, large scale, shallow buried and thick ledge characteristics. At present, three main alumina plants of Guangxi with abundant bauxite resources is the resource base for the sustainable development of local aluminum industry and their production capacity will over 6000 thousand tons.
