    Alumina Output Emerged Negative Growth in Oct.

    (Chian Aluminum Network) On Wednesday NBS published output about basic metals, alumina output decreased 5.4% yoy and it is the fisrt time emerged negative growth in this year, but output of refined tin and nickel increased largely.


     


    In October, produced refined copper 469 thousand tons rose 16.4% and 1414 thousand tons of electrolytic aluminium grew 0.3%, while alumina reached 2650 thousand tons declined 5.4% yoy. Refined zinc, tin and nickel reached 474 thousand tons, 15978.5 and 30248 tons, increased 2.4%, 26.2% and 67.2% yoy respectively, but refined lead kept stable.


     


    From January to October, output of refined copper, electrolytic aluminium, alumina and refined lead reached to 4581, 14677, 28932 and 3922 thousand tons respectively and all increased.
