Total Aluminum Export Reached to 230 thousand tons in September

(China Aluminum Network) As China Customs published in September total aluminum export amount to 230 thousand tons increased 37.3% yoy; aluminum profiles occupied 67.9 thousand tons increased 67.8% and 100.9 thousand tons of aluminum plate grew 31.63%.

On a monthly basis, compared with August aluminum export reduced 40 thousand tons in September, dropped 17.4%. While aluminum profiles and aluminum plate/strip reduced 10 and 27.9 thousand tons respectively. And in September aluminum foil reduced 5 thousand tons compared with August.

As entered into September, export was more deteriorated than ever before. Export price for aluminum plate/strip and profiles was LME+ processing charges, means more export more losses, so in order to reduce losses many enterprises can not but improve processing charges. Weak overseas demand is also another factor to tighten aluminum export. During the on-going Canton Fair large number of aluminum profile enterprises states less orders and poor performance in this year. Part of foreign customers chose other markets to place orders as a result of the increasing processing charges.
