Nanshan Aluminum Invest 6 Billion yuan to Build Aluminum Alloy Plate Project

(China Aluminum Network) Nanshan Aluminum announced to invest 6.19 billion yuan to build large size and high-performance special aluminum alloy materials production line which annual production could reaches 200 thousand tons. Also plans to bid for land-use right for this project, the listed price of the land was 0.358 billion yuan.

While the funds was raised by company itself, 5.233 billion yuan for construction investment, and 0.461 and 0.496 billion yuan for interest incurred during construction and initial working capital respectively, totally reached to 6.19 billion yuan. The company said that large size special aluminum alloy plate was widely used in aviation, chemical industry, ships, automobiles and modern industries, especially prestretching plate. This project will make critical breakthrough in casting, rolling, heat treatment and prestretching, then form scale and industrialization production to fill industry gap in domestic; to further expand large size sheet market and to ease import pressure.
