Settlement Agreements of Chinalco & Rio Tinto Joint Project Take Effect

(China Aluminum Network) October 26, Chinalco announced that in terms of West Africa Guinea Simandou Project plans to proceed lastest progress about settlement agreements. The board of directors agreed to sign supplement of revised joint development agreements with Rio Tinto, to make the settlement agreements take effect.

It is expected that will extended the content period, and this period may ended before March, 2012. Rio Tinto will provides a preliminary project appraisal report on Simandou Project, then the submit of this report will be regard as an extra prerequisite condition in this joint development agreements.
