Galuminum Group Invest 20 Billion Yuan to Build Aluminum Production Base

[China Aluminum Network] October 13, Galuminum Group Invest 20 billion Yuan to build large comprehensive aluminum processing & production base. It is learned that first-stage project of this base will invest 5 billion Yuan, and will be finished and put into production in next year.

Galuminum Group possesses world most complete aluminum industry chain at present. In the upstream of industry chain, they established Guizhou Galuminum Company. It is reported that the company’s 9 ore blocks can ensure 50 years resources guarantee for Guizhou alumina enterprises. After construction of the first-stage project, annual alumina production can reaches 800 thousand tons, 70% as export sales, annual sales revenue will over 50 billion Yuan.

Aluminum resources are limited in our country, last year bauxite import account for 46% in the total consumption, almost 14 times more than 6 years ago, largely increase in bauxite import volume
