China Needs to Import 60% Base Metal in 2020

CPPCC National Committee member and Minmetals president Zhou Zhongshu said till 2020, 65% of China¡¯s base metal will need import.

Zhou Zhongshu said Minmetals has made a research project with Chinese Academy of Engineering last year on China¡¯s mine and resource.

Investigation shows that following the fast growing economy, base metal more and more rely on import, till 2020, 65% of China¡¯s base metal will rely on import.
