China Bauxite Import Keeps High In Augus

[China Aluminum Network] September 21, according to China import and export report shows that China bauxite import 3851.5 thousand tons in August, grow 54.94% yoy, and 3743.1 thousand tons in July. From the beginning of this year on, totally import 28295.3 thousand tons, grow 44.62% yoy.

Indonesia, Australia, India and Germany are the main import countries for China. At the beginning of September, somone said Indonesia impose restriction on bauxite export, but from the continued high import volume, and the judgement of alumina factory implementation scheduling in Indonesia, so there were less likely to happen such phenomenon.
