[China Aluminum Network]The first aluminum bus stations have been put into use in Changsha, China.
These two new stations are located in Jinxing Road, Hexi. Their ceilings, stands and seats are all made of aluminum alloy. Compared with traditional bus stations, they have a stronger sense of modernity.
Bus stations in Chinese cities are usually made of steel. However, they need to be replaced after ten years because of its shabby appearance caused by years of rain and sunlight. Although the aluminum bus station costs more than the steel-made station, it has a series of apparent advantages. First of all, aluminum bus station has strong corrosion resistance. It can be used for more than 20 years. Secondly, aluminum has small density which is only 1/3 of that of steel. But its strength is strong enough to replace steel. Therefore, aluminum bus station is convenient in installation. Thirdly, aluminum can be recycled.
Currently, aluminum bus stations are rarely seen in China compared with foreign countries. It is reported that more aluminum bus stations might come into use in Changsha.
